Logistical questions I asked were never properly answered or at all. I asked 3 times if we had the ability to kayak, never addressed.

Wonderful surroundings for a get-together with friends!
We were a mixed group of 7 friends, Norwegian and American, men and women. All of us greatly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, but the view is the big attraction at Stalheim. It is unparallelled! My 5th time there and it never ceases to impress. Loved that the place is so social. Someone was playing the piano in the lounge and other strangers were chatting while admiring the view. THAT is good ambience. Also very nice that coffee, tea and other beverages are available any time, and the lounge and outdoor area were great places for socializing.
I wish we could have seen the museum, but the requirement was for a group of 10, so there weren't enough of us. I've seen it before and it is very worthwhile.
